Waikoikoi School is a small rural school with a strong sense of community, where every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their personal best. Nestled in West Otago, our school embraces the unique opportunities that come from learning in and about our beautiful local environment. We believe that authentic, hands-on learning helps children develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

At Waikoikoi School, our vision of Little School, Big Spirit is reflected in everything we do. We strive to provide a high-quality education in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where students are encouraged to take risks, show resilience and develop the skills they need for the future. Strong relationships between students, staff, whānau and the wider community are at the heart of our success.
